just my opinion, but if someone is downloading this file its beacuse they dont have any unrar app on theyr phones. If so, how you expect us to unrar that file? Wouldnt it better if you share it as a zip since phone usualy has a built unzip?

if u want to download the RAR file, 1st download the jar file n u fone instal it n then open the rar file through ip but i dnt knw how i can change the path,do i need to write memory card on place of phone memory.cheers

Hi guys, odd enough, rar file contains just the jar file you can download directly into your cellphone. It seems to be a chinese application. Jar starts but won’t work- can.t select any file to open
Anyway, looking further googled unrar nokia 5800 and found version 1.00 at nokia mobile talk web site. This one installed without a problem. Requested to uninstall previous version, which i agreed. Once working it made jar version -which was still there- work as well. Good luck!

I love the look and feel of the Nokia N97. This is probably the best phone that i ever bought, the other best phone would be the iPhone.

I cant believe how people are finding it so hard to use this app.
So I will make it easy for you.
First of all, install the jar version to your phone. You can either run this on your computer (thats if your phone is connected to your comp) by double clicking the file on your memory card or phone memory. It will start the install and ask you to continue the install on your phone.
Once it is installed, to find winrar folders, you obviously need to have them on your phone in the first place. You will have to give the darn thing permission to access your phone.
To get to a folder, click options, then back. Continue to do this till you come to your root folder which shows your phone memory and card storage. From there navigate to your winrar folder and unrar it. In some cases it wont unrar automatically, you have to click options and select. Sometimes even then it wont unrar.
If you dont understand all this, then your obviously too thick to own a phone, especially a symbian one.

I can open the rar archive but cant extract, open or do what ever is inside the rar file. I only can see the file in the rar archive. Any help?

hai guys.am using it in my 5233.when i open this, it firstly shows private, when we go back to root folder and select rar application it shows 1.extract 2.select all 3.extract to.when i select extract it shows time remains 0,time remains 1 like this.i dont know where the problem is? If anyone knows pls make a video in youtube.thanx

software only works for extracting small proprams like winrar itself songs . It keeps giving errors when heavy duty softwares r to be extracted
